What Causes Vaginal Swelling While Suffering From Yeast Infection?
Hi, i am currently 31 weeks pregnant, i have a yeast infection currently but my husband pointed out the other day that one of my lady parts inside my vagina were extremely swollen. I dont know how to identify the part but its like a really big ball. I am wondering if this is in relation to my pregnancy or my yeast infection. I am a bit embarrassed to ask.
Usually, with pregnancy there's is increased blood supply to labia may lead to swelling and darkening if labia. It may also cause swelling due to increased hormone during the pregnancy.
If it is cystic swelling may be due to bartholine cyst or vulval infection. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult gynaecologist she will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
