What Causes Vaginal Spotting With Mucous Discharge During Menstruation?

I usually get my period during the first week of every month.. last month it was very lite and spotty. This month I didn t have anything until a few days ago. Just some spotting 1 or 2 days and mucousy discharge. When my period didn t come I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative.. This evening I am experiencing a lot of cramping in my abdomen and lower back and I have very heavy bleeding with a lot of clots. I hardly ever have heavy periods and have never had anything like this. Should I be worried and go to Urgent care?

Pregnancy test rules out pregnancy. Menstrual flow depends on the hormonal change and stress. Due to excess stress in 1 month the hormones gets imbalance which leads to excess or scanty flow that month. Mucosal discharge suggest again hormonal imbalance.So treatment would be take stress reliever and androgenic medicines and do regular yogas.
