Hi,

It is difficult to know you are pregnant if the bleeding is 3 days before your expected periods. You might need to have a pregnancy test and if negative repeat it 3-4 days after the expected day of your periods. If a woman is pregnant generally the implantation bleeding happens 6 days after conception which would be around 8 days before the expected date of the next periods.

Susten is progesteron, which is a hormone produced a lot during pregnancy and many doctors give it in first trimester bleeding to prevent pregnancy loss, studies have shown that is not effective and do not support its use. To conclude:
- please make sure you are pregnant, it seems too early for you to know for sure now, you need to have a delayed period to know you are pregnant or at least a blood pregnancy test at least 11 days after conception (around 3 days before the expected period)
- susten even though it is prescribed by many doctors it is not found to help with first trimester bleeding and is not supported by evidence.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
