What Causes Vaginal Spotting Despite Taking Vagifem Post Hysterectomy?

i have been prescribed vagifem following a hystocoptomy due to having spotting I have been using it for 5 days and I have been bleeding slightly feel sick and tired and have dull headache what do you advice I am 55 and had no periods since 2011 following having surgery to remove an ovary due to a large cyst causing very heavy menstruation

Hi.

Give it some time, vagifem should help mildly (at least) correct the hormonal insufficiency that you are experiencing brought about by menopause, and it should help correct the tiredness, headaches, etc.

But speak to your doctor if you do not experience any response in over 2 weeks, and may be your doctor may decide to either increase the dose or prescribe a different hormonal replacement medication.
