What Causes Vaginal Irritation On Insertion Of Tampon?

Recently I have experienced vaginal irritation, but only when i have inserted a tampon. The symptoms are not there throughout the day but only after taking a tampon out. I initially thought it was thrush, so I have taken both a pessary and oral fluconazole. I only have one partner but the medication does not have seemed to have worked. could this possibly be bacterial vaginosis?

HI
Well come to HCM
Such symptoms could be due to friction injury to mucosa of vaginal wall and this most likely due to device used, in my opinion just stop using this, keep the area clean this would come around on its own, and if this does not then better to get done the clinical examination, hope this information helps, take care.
