Hello! recently my doctor suggested using a different gel than the one i was using for vaginal dryness. It really did help but the problem was my boyfriend s penis kept slipping out easily which made the intercourse very unpleasant at that point. We decided to try a couple more times the next day without the gel and it was the same. I m not sure what happened, but i m a little concern that this might be a different issue related to hormones or ovulation. Never had this issue before and I m 41 now. My boyfriend insists that i talk to my doctor about it and since he travels a lot for work, we haven t had sex since that happened the last couple times. Don t want this to happen again the next time we see each other. What do i do if it continues to happen at every intercourse. What could be the cause of this issue? Please help
A decrease in oestrogen hormone level can cause vaginal dryness. The decrease could be due to menopause or perimenopause (a transition time before menopause).
The other possible reason could be use of certain soaps, lotions and perfumes which can disrupt with the natural balance of chemicals in your vagina leading to dryness.
Kindly visit your gynaecologist so that he/she can carry out certain tests to confirm the cause. By doing so you can comfort your partner and enjoy the intercourse.
Hope this helps.
Take care!
