Hi, my friend wanted to delay her period as she was going away this weekend, she was prescribed and advised to take utovlan 5mg tablets, 2 days prior to her due date, but 3 would be better. She was also told to take 1 tablet 3 times daily, she has passed the second day now and has taken the correct amount of tablets but seems to be bleeding and having cramps, the bleeding started off being light, but has got slightly heavier, but still no where near the amount of a normal period, and the cramps are the same. Does she continue to take utovlan? And is she on her period, or is it normal for this to happen? And finally can she take anything else in order to delay her period if she is not already on it?
