What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Birth Control Pills?

My daughter is 23 yrs old she has had her period with no more than 3-4 days in between for a year now. Last year she got 1 Depo shot. She is now been on birth control pills but still is continuing to blled. Also very heavy at times. She had an internal ultrasound results came back normal. Her hair is also falling out. She is also anemic.

When bleeding occurs for longer period than it is usually as in your case then there are few possible causes and most common is a hormone imbalance. PCOS is one of the causes of hormonal imbalance.
