What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Trigestrel Pills?
Hi i just started using the trigetrel pills this month i ve been bleeding since last month the doctors told me that after taking them ill be fine my cycle will function right but now again there s this pains on my abdomen it comes and goes some times its too painful but honestly am forever in pains please help. it s my first time using the contraceptives.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Trigestrel like other contraceptive pills may give you side effects like abnormal vaginal bleeding and pelvic pains especially in the first months of use. These side effects and other side effects of the pill are expected to subside as your system get used to it(in a few months). However, the pain you describe is not new to you.It may as well be caused by an underlying gynecological problem like chronic PID/STI, pelvic masses... to investigate.I will suggest you see your Gynecologist for evaluation. You may take a pelvic ultrasound and STI work-ups.If no cause found, you just stay calm and your system will surely get adapted as it may be a side effect of the pills. You may also take an anti-spasmodic pain drug like spasfon during serious pains while your Doctor investigates the cause. Hope this will help Best regards
