my wife and mine friend is pregnant and is due this friday. she just called and said she is having contractions 3 to 4 mins apart and when she went to the bathroom a streak of blood came out we told to go to hospital but she want to wait. whats is the cause of the streak of blood

Hi, I think shecshould see her doctor immediately. It can be a sign of labour. Get her examined by her doctor. A pelvic examination is needed to confirm if she is in labour or not. Hope it helps.
