What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy?

Iam 14 weeks pregnancy . I had painless bleeding last week I took nt scan that day doctor said I had low lying placenta and baby heart rate is good and adviced bedrest for 4 weeks . Iam an private employee when I can go for the job how many weeks I need bed rest?

Hi, I think the bleeding is due to low lying placenta. You should not do heavy work, avoid trauma and intercourse. Take bed rest for 1 month. After that you can do a ultrasound to see if placenta has migrated up or not. If placenta has migrated upwards, you can go for work. If you have any bleeding again, consult your doctor immediately.
