What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am just over 6 weeks pregnant and am experiencing some bleeding. It is not heavy bleeding but it is becoming more persistant as time is going on and I am just wondering if things are ok? I was seen by my Dr on Friday and she did a vaginal ultrasound and said the pregnancy was there and that she did see the tiny little heartbeat. They checked my blood pressure and said it was perfect. I do not have any pain or cramping but am worried about the bleeding. Any suggestions?

Be careful about genital hygiene/avoid infection/treat infection if any.
Have regular follow up by gynecologist with repeat USG as & when advised.
Thanks.
