What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy?

Hi I am 7 weeks pregnant have had bleeding since last Saturday like a light period had a scan on Saturday and they said baby is measuring 5 weeks when it should have been over 6 the bleeding is coming and going other than pain on left side of my pubic bone I have no other pain. Hospital sent me home to rest and see what happens am I miscarryingmich

Bleeding during pregnancy is indicative of missed or threatened abortion.
It is advisable to immediately consult your obstetrician for ultrasound abdomen to look for evidence of missed or threatened abortion.
A threatened abortion can be managed if picked up early and the process can be halted.
