What causes vaginal bleeding during early pregnancy?

Hi, I am 5 weeks pregnant and have some bleeding since 3 days. My early scan shows gestation sac of 6 mm and my gunac has prescribed duphaston and Fertigyn hp 5000 injection for the next 2 weeks till my next scan. could you please let me know if its safe

I understand your concern.
Vaginal bleeding during first few weeks of pregnancy happens sometimes. It happens when there is insufficiency of hormones. It should not happen continuously as it may eventually lead to miscarriage. Kindly take the medication as advised as it would replenish the hormones and helps to continue pregnancy.
Presently, you need to avoid strenuous physical activity and take adequate bed rest. Eat healthy food in time and take good quantities of fluids. Do not be stressed or anxious. Relax.
In the next scan after 2 week, the progress would be evaluated and managed accordingly.
