What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Bowel Movement Before Periods?

Is vaginal bleeding with bowel movement a normal menstruation thing? It always happens around a week before my actual period but it s frustrating because it is heavy so I wonder if it s my period but it isn t. No bleeding excite with bm. I also have slight pink spotting after sex. This is pretty normal stuff right?

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Vaginal bleeding with bowel movements may be some premenstrual syndrome. But these symptoms a week before actual menses will need to be investigated given recurrence. These symptoms could as well be caused by pelvic masses, pelvic infections or hormonal imbalances.Spotting after sex may be a normal finding but pink spotting may also need to be investigated.I will suggest you see a Gynecologist for examination.A pelvic ultrasound, a colposcopy and an infectious/STI work-up may be helpful here.
Hope my answer ill help you
Best regards
