What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During An Intercourse?
Hello this seems really unusual, but I was having intercourse with my partner and there was blood. Not from him but me...which is unusual. I m on the implant and have been for a few months and I ve not had a period for years! Even after I had an abortion in February this year (sadly I had to go through this : ( ) I ve not had any other symptoms of the usual period you get, no bloating, no cramps nothing. But there were clots little ones but noticeable. I checked my cervix, it s hard and far back but not high. If that makes any sense. And I m really worried. For some reason it s got s slight sting inside (if that makes sense) I ve just moved and it s a 3-6 week wait to see a doctor where I am. So I m not sure what to do. I m utterly embarrassed about this as its a new relationship. Anything I can do?
Possible issue with vaginal infection or hormone disturbances making changes over cervical os epithelial lining. Though a vaginal swab with per vaginal examination is a must, till the time you approach your OBGYN, you can: - Drink more liquids to maintain hydration and prevent secondary bacterial urinary infection - Wear loose, clean, cotton inner wears - Avoid vaginal sex till recovery
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
