Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Delayed periods with a positive pregnancy test confirms pregnancy. Spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy can be due to: 1. Threatened or missed abortion 2. Bleeding around the foetus( subchorionic haemorrhage) 3. Ectopic pregnancy The diagnosis can be confirmed by proper examination and ultrasound. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
