What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Blood In Urine While Suffering From UTI?

About a week ago I was treated for a UTI, the symptoms were just having to always urinate & I could never relive myself, I got treated for the UTI, but the doctor said that The test didn’t show very much of a UTI but a little. It got better a few days, but never fully went away, a couple days ago I peed with blood, so I went to the doctor again and he prescribed me stronger antibiotics. Second day (today) on my antibiotics I’m peeing blood with a decent amount & also I’m bleeding from my vagina.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, you should consult a gynecologist and get the below investigations:

1. Clinical and endoscopic examination of vagina and uterus
2. Ultrasound examination of kidney ureter and bladder

You might be having a uterine infection or renal stone which is causing blood in urine. So, consult a gynecologist and discuss all these problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
