What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Having Postinor 2?

My girlfriend n i had unprotected sex after her five days of menstrual period. she took postinor 2 on the next day around 2:20pm n after some hours we had unprotected sex again.she later wake up around 7:50pm to see blood coming out of her vagina. please i want u to give me answers on why she was bleeding? And does it mean it worked or not? And is she going to get pregnant or not?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Ponstinor is an emergency contraceptive. It has high hormone dose. your friend has taken it within 24 hours of unprotected sex, So there is no chance of pregnancy.
At the same time I doubt ,about the bleeding to be due to Ponstinor.. The withdrawal bleeding following it can not be 5 hours. It takes minimum 2-5 days.
She needs to be investigated for the cause of bleeding if bleeding is profuse/ repeats . It may be due to sexual stress,local polyp at mouth of uterus,hormonal disturbance,
