What Causes Urinary Tract Infection After An Angiogram?

Hi, My father in law underwent angiogram one year back and till then he is having urine infection. Later he suffered fever, so he took tablets for urine infection too along with angiogram tablets. Now doctor advised him to go for a surgery for urine infection. I want to know, how much risk is there to undergo this operation. Kindly advice.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

Angiogram operation and urinary track infection don't have any relation. For urinary infection they don't do operation. It may be because of stones in the bladder. Please confirm what doctor told and what type of operation is planned, then I can answer you in detail.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya,
