What Causes Urinary Incontinence In A Toddler?

I have a three year old who has been fully potty trained since she was 21/2. She recently started peeing on the floor for no particular reason. She ll go wherever and just squat and pee. Its becoming incredibly frustrating, not to mention that I m embarrassed to have guests over because my house smells like urine! She literally just did it right in front of me.. I was doing work on the computer and she crawled under the desk and peed.

yes its a common behaviour shown by lots of children and its called regression. You just need to be patient and more understanding. Yes from what you have narrated , it would difficult for any parent to see this happen unexpectedly. What you need to do is start rewarding her with some good things whenever she pees at the right place. try to check if she is feeling neglected when you are doing your work as children do these things to get your attention . PRAISE HER WHEN SHE SHOWS GOOD Behaviour. Cooperate with her by saying that OK lets clean up together. make her use toilet more number of times by taking her before dinner and after dinner so that she understands that that is the place where she is supposed to pee.
