What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain Under The Rib Cage On The Right Side?
I have upper abdominal pain under my right side of my rib cage. I think it may be GERD or maybe an ulcer because I stopped taking omeprazol about 18 months ago and I take 400 mg ibuprofen in am and pm and sometimes in the afternoon. What can I use other than nsaids for arthritis pain/discomfort

The pain on the right side is not likely to be related to GERD. This can be a bone-related pain or a muscle pull due to an abnormal posture. You can take a mild pain killer and see if it helps.
