What Causes Unusual Thick Discharges During Urination?

My 3 year old daughter has what looks like little pea sized doughie substance which is at the bottom off the toilet when she goes #1. Hardly noticeable. It s happened a few times now only when she urines. Someone told me that she might have diabetes and to get her urine tested. Got the container, so I m doing that tomorrow since the doctor couldn t see us today. Was told not to worry to much, but it s my kid and that s what I do. Please let me know your thoughts on the matter. Thanks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a urinary tract infection. You can go for culture study of the discharge. Nothing much to worry as most of the cases respond well to antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
