Hello,
You have been experiencing unusual taste in the mouth. It is random and irritating. Unusual taste in the mouth is commonly due to oral or dental problems. Get clinically examined by a
dentist, any infection, growth,
oral thrush or
throat infection can cause such symptoms.
Gargle your mouth 2-3 times in a day with warm water and salt. Infection if detected will be treated with antibiotics/ antifungals, etc. Keep a few cardamom seeds in the mouth and slowly chew it, the unusual smell should disappear and you will get a fresh feeling.
Usual taste in the mouth can also be due to side effects of the medications you have been taking, be mindful of the medications you take. If you are suffering from chronic sinus infections, get it treated. It can also cause you such symptoms. Avoid exposure to chemicals, avoid food that causes allergy, avoid
indigestion,
acid reflux, GERD, etc.
Avoid smoking cigarettes, stay away from addictions if any. Stay hydrated, which helps prevent
dry mouth. Switch to a different
diet plan, experiment with different foods, spices, and seasonings, it will be helpful. However, get connected to a local GP, if symptoms are not improving. You may be referred to an ENT for further management of parosmia.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
