What Causes Unusual Stomach Pain In Child?
My six yr old son came home early today saying he tummy hurts. It s been since 1 pm est today. It s not 7:30 pm. He also slept since he s been home and woke up an hour ago. He only drank about an ounce of water. He asked for milk but I m not sure if that s good for him at this time. I tried to give him some ginger tea and something to eat but he only took a sip and is refusing to eat. He s not vomiting, no diarrhea, no fever, only the stomach ache. He didn t fall or hit his stomach in away. Is there something I can do for now until I call his pediatrician in the morning?

Hello,
There are several reasons for stomach ache in children like parasites infection, viral infection or even appendicitis. You can give him Buscopan or Simethicone for pain but if it still don't get better do an ultrasound.
