General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your problem seems to be due to over strain of the finger. If there is no pain. You should take rest. Avoid movements of the finger. Hot / cold packs would help. In case of absent relief, consult your family physician for physical examination and prescribtion - of specific medicines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
