What Causes Unusual Oval Swelling On Forehead?
Three weeks ago I experienced an unusual oval swelling on the right forehead area which itched and burned, but with no evidence of an entry wound like an insect bite. That finally went away but returned in close proximity in a day or two. I took a prednisone - 10 mg. and it went away. Now it is back only on the left forehead and there is pressure and severe headache, itching and burning. I do have food allergies and environmental allergies, but am vigilant in taking care not to trigger. Also, have DDD in my neck.

should not take steroid without any medical advise. it can be inflamatory or allergic erruption. it is better to get it examined by surgeon. after proper diagnosis medical treatment or surgical procedure can be decided.
