What Causes Unusual Moisture After A Skin Tag Falls Off At The Nape?

Hi, thank you so much. So I had a skin tag on the back of my neck. I woke up yesterday morning and it seemed to be gone, but there is pus (at least I think it is puss) coming from the spot where the skin tag was. I have washed it and put powder on my neck because it is so moist. I don t know what is going on.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for asking question.
According to history here pus discharge present, so it seems to be superficial bacterial infection by staph or strepto.
First if size is small and it is open lesion extract pus from it by pressing surrounding.
Clear that wound daily by dettol or savlon like antiseptic.
Then apply betardine ointement over it.
Such dressing done for 4 to 5 days.
Take amoxiclav antibiotic along with it.
If lesion not improve after 5 days or its size bigger consultation to doctor done for incision and drainage
I hope my suggestion will help you.
