What Causes Unusual Discomfort In Right Abdomen?

Hi, i experience a strange movement sensation in my upper slightly to the right abdomen. It s been about a week now, it comes and goes but no pain, just weird, like a baby pushes from inside. I am 38, three kids, healthy, in good shape, exercising, do not eat meat, only fish sometimes. definitely not pregnant. Google doesn t have relevant answers. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Discomfort in right abdomen can be related to many medical conditions. It can be related to the presence of gas in the intestine. It can also be appendix inflammation. I suggest to do an abdominal ultrasound for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
