What Causes Unilateral Headaches?

Recently, for the last two weeks, I ve been afraid of having an unruptured brain aneurysm. My vision has been fine and so has my balance. My pupils are not dilated. However, I have been having mild pressure and headaches here and there in my head and right now, I have on my right side, including my right eye. How can I be assured that this is just panic/anxiety and stress and not an aneurysm?

Hi,

Your pain could be anxiety induced or a migraine headache.

You can be prescribed Naproxen or Ibuprofen like a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug.

In the case of an aneurysm, pain is severe and associated hypertension might be present.

Your symptoms don't suggestive of aneurysm pain.

But still after examination, if suspected than MRI scan be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
