What Causes Ulcers In The Terminal Ileum?
Is there a possible normal reason for the finding of apthous ulcers in the terminal ileum - 2 small ones have been found in my 17 year old daughter via colonoscopy. 8 biopsies have been taken from this site, with 4 biopsies being taken from her stomach via gastroscopy. We won t know anything for 2 weeks and she is concerned that it may be crohns. A wireless capsule was also done.

The most likely cause of these ulcers is Crohn's but you will need to wait on the biopsy results to know for sure.
