What Causes Twitching Of Eye Lid After Taking Amoxicillin And Motrin?

I have a toothache on my right side...whole side of face is throbbing....went to Dentist...,got to see an oral surgeon to have tooth pulled...an Extraction....I m taking Motrin, Norco (Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen and Amoxicillin...I ve noticed tonight that my right eyelid is twitching....at times....the same side as the toothache....my question is do you think my right side eyelid twitch is related to my jaw pain from tooth...or maybe the medication?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

It is most probably related to the extraction and is normal. It should subside in some amount of time (few days) and is most probably nothing to worry about. Get as much rest as possible and if the twitching lasts for more than a week then report back to your dentist.

Best wishes.
