What Causes Twitching In The Eyelids?

I have had twitching in the lid under my right eye for nearly 2 months, now moving to right temple. Happens many times a day...sneezing seems to trigger it also. Opthamalogist says eyes are fine. Also have neck pain on the right side that comes and goes. Everyone says it is stress...should I be investigating further?
