What Causes Twitching And Fluttering In The Lower Chest With Slight Pain?

i have a twitching fluttering thing going on for about 2 hours now in my lower left peck i can see it moving also a slight pain and tightness in that area have had pains there befor but usually go away quick i just quit smoking in the last week after 15 years thanks

Thanks for your question on HCM.
Since you are having left sided discomfort, I think we should rule out cardiac cause first.
Twitching and fluttering in chest is caused most commonly by palpitation (rapid heart rate). And this palpitations can be due to arrhythmia.
So get done
1. ECG
2. 2D Echo
3. Holter monitoring (24 hour continuous recording of ECG).
If all these are normal than no need to worry for cardiac cause.
Then this can be due to apprehension and anxiety as you left smoking. So better to avoid stress and tension. Keep calm.
Consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.
