What Causes Twinge In Abdomen?

I occassionally get a twinge that lasts only a couple of seconds on my right side-upper to mid abdomen...I had an ultrasound and Hida scan of my gallbladder and it is negative, I have had blood work done and it is perfect, no change in stool, no blood, no n/v...nothing but a twinge. I have fibromyalgia and under my breasts the ribs are always sore...I cracked my right back ribs many years ago and often they are sore from moving or working around the house..someone said that it might be a muscle spasm...can you help me? thank you, patty

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

You have rightly noted all your history. It is due to the old cracked ribs that the nerves going through or nearby are causing the twinge and nothing else.

IF this is not much symptomatic , you can forget about this and take medicines only if the problem persists or increases.
....
Do not worry . .
