What Causes Tremors And Twitching Sensation On The Thumb?
my daughter (36) just called and showed me a video of her thumb with palm open is uncontrollably shaking, twitching .. she said if she closes her hand the whole hand shakes - she also is complaining of periodic eye twitching. any idea what is going on ?

Hello,how long has this been happening??Is there weakness associated with twitching,does she drink & stopped recently??
If I were your physician,i would
1)Take a detailed history
2)Order blood tests like serum electrolytes & serum calcium
3)After ruling out general conditions,think for advanced ones like myasthenia gravis or periodic paralysis,& do a detailed workup.
