What Causes Tiredness, Bloating And Soreness In The Lower Stomach?

Hi, I had the mirena IUD inserted aprox 16 months ago, and have had no problems at all up until 9 weeks ago. I have been very tired, bloated lower stomach, soreness in the lower stomach, brown/light pink discharge (the last few hours), and missed last months menstrual cycle as well as this months. Im wondering if this is normal, as none of these have happened up until now. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to Mirena.

I suggest using Simethicone medications three times a day to relieve the bloating.

I also recommend to drink liquids and eat a healthy diet.

If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult your gynecologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
