What Causes Tiny Red String Like Substances In The Urine?

I am being treated for prostititus and using a levofloxin(?). Have catheter in right now and am capturing urine volume numbers. Have noticed tiny red string like discharges about 10 times in the past 10 days. Usually about 1" to 3" in length with a very small pinhead. The strands are the thickness of a fine thread. Am wondering what it is. Thank you!

Its the desqu mated epithelial cells in your bladderwhich settle down and form a string like this. .no need to worry, it will settle down as soon as u r catheter removed, some time it ma y be prostate exudate, which settle because of infection, anyway no need to bother, it will settle as soon as u complete s antibiotic course
