What Causes Tiny Blood Clots Around Sutures Post Surgery On Hand?

Hi my Daughter had surgery on her hand and has subsequently had her stitches removed. We just noticed a small red dot, kinda looks like a tiny blood clot under the skin. It seems to be in the same position as where the suture was. There seems to be a couple more but we can t see clearly as its still bandaged. Is there any reason for concern?

Thanks for posting to hms,
I think the red dot can be infection better to treat it early with antibiotics like amoxycillin.
If there seems any pus formation please drain it fast.
And please provide the details of wound for which suturing is done.
