What Causes Tingling Sensation On The Back After A Neck Injury?

Good afternoon - My daughter had a neck injury when someone was trying to catch their fall and landed on her head/side of face, left side. She is expeireancing tingling with a funny feeling on the back of the neck going into the head, she also says its hard to keep her head up while sitting/standing sh only feels ok when laying down. She also is having a hard time focusing on reading, talking, she will have a conversation but then if you stop talking to her it s like she goes into a daze, she said it sounds like I am mubbling to her and then it feels like her eyes are focused on one thing and everything else around goes blurry. Could you help me?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should do MRI brain and neck. As the there are chances of nerve compression in the neck that is causing tingling sensations over the back. And other symptoms you have mentioned may be there is some internal brain injure MRI will help u to diagnose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
