What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Head Along With Eye Irritation?

I am a healthy 56 year old female wth no ailments and I m not on any medications, yet I just experienced a frightening episode which involved tingling on the top rear of my head and irritation in my left eye which briefly interrupted my vision and caused a loss of balance. The entire episode lasted about 30 seconds. Should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on your description, the episode may be due to abnormal function of the nerves that supply that area. It is one of the most common reasons for transient altered sensation.

Though in some persons, there is no repetition of symptoms, it is best to be seen by your doctor or a neurologist (the better option).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
