What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Body While Walking?

When walking I get a electrical shock throughout my entire body with just about every step. If I stand still it alleviates . if I keep my head still while walking still happens but with less frequency. Also while sitting if I turn my head it feels like shock waves going through my body. I am 51 yrs old 6 ft tall 290lbs . this has been going on for a few months now. and is extremely irritating. No recent trauma,

Hi,

Electric shock-like sensation in the body while head movements may be called Lhermitte's sign.

Seen in cervical spondylosis with compressive myelopathy or multiple sclerosis or cervical disc prolapse or subacute combined degeneration of spinal cord etc.

Avoid over flexion or extension of the neck. Use neck support collar.

Please get it done MRI brain and spine.

Please consult your neuro physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
