What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Arms While On Antibiotics?
Hello I was diagnosed with H Pylori little over a week ago. They got my on amoxicillin, clarithromycin and lansoprazole. This is my 8th day of the 14 days I’ve been taking this. I’ve been getting tingling feeling in my arms and legs. Do u know if this is from infection or meds. Doctors did a CBC and it was normal.
Thank you for using "Ask a doctor" service to post your health concern.
I read it carefully and I understand your worry.
The symptoms you are describing are not a side effect of the medicines you are taking. It may be something to not worry about like carpal tunnel syndrome or anxiety or it can be something important to treat especially if it continues to get worse or persist in the following days.
But what I can tell for sure is that it is not a side effect of the antibiotics. But for more and the accurate diagnosis you need to see a local doctor to examine you.
I hope this is helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Papaqako
