What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Arms And Dizziness While On Synthroid?

yes. i just had my goiter removed, am in a generic synthroid. Have choked today, lip tingling, arms won t go up, dizzy, weak, scared, cold. Surgery was the 31st. Wonder if I am anxious. Don t know the milligram of med. How long does it take for body to adjust to med? Thank you. susan early for bobbie pinkston

Hi,

Tingling sensation, dizziness, tremor, nervousness, stomach cramps, weight loss, weakness, diarrhoea are side effects of Synthroid. Consult your treating PCP for the doses of the medication.

Take exactly the dosage prescribed. Report the PCP about the side effects you are experiencing & all the other medications that you might be taking; so that the medication can be altered or dosage monitored.

In the meantime take adequate water, plenty of sleep, stay away from addictions & take nutritious homemade food.
