What Causes Tingling Sensation In Hand Post A Head Injury?

I passed out a 2 wks ago and hit my head on the kitchen tiles. When I came to my hand was tingling and has been since. It sometimes is worse then others but is always there. The thumb is the worst. I can also at times feel it run down my arm at times. I assume it s a nerve. Do you think it will mend itself

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.

You probably had brain contusion and neck distension and this would explain our symptoms. You should do MRI scan of the brain and EEG to see is there some pathologic process but in most cases it subside during the time.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
