What Causes Tingling Sensation From The Waist To The Neck?

I have tingling in my right side from my waist up to my neck. It is just like when a hand falls asleep and is waking up. But it has been going on for about a week and a half. It started in my foot but when it started in my hand it left my foot. What could be causing this? I am 20 year old female just married and started the birth control pill. I am also anemic.

Hi,

It seems you have peripheral neuritis (tingling sensations predominantly in the dsital part foot, hand) which has many causes. Vitamin deficiency (B1, B6 & B12) is one of the common causes. Oral Contraceptives, Combination Products or Progestin-only Products does not cause any peripheral neuritis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
