What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness On The Left Thigh?

I am having tingling/numbness in my left thigh. It started yesterday when I was standing washing dishes. Once I sat down it quit. This afternoon it started back up, however, I was sitting at work. Also my left foot feels tingling too, like it fell asleep and my fingertips. My lower back doesn t hurt. Any ideas?
