General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your clinical history is concerned to a physical examination by your local neurologist and do an MRI test to rule out spinal issues. It is related to his nerve injury so after confirmation by MRI, treatment will be surgical.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
