What Causes Tingling In Arms And Fingers With Popping Sound In Neck At Skull?

yES, i AM A 44 YR OLD FEMALE WHIO IS EXPERIENCING HIP ACH, TINGLING IN MY RIGHT ARM AND FINGERS, RIGHT PALM ITCHES, POPPING SOUND IN MY NECK AT SKULL EVERYTIME I MOVE MY HEAD, FULLNESS & SLIGHT ACHE IN SKULL WHERE NECK MEETS MY HAIRLINE & IS RAISED OR I HAVE A KNOT. LASTLY, I HAVE HAD EDEMA IN BOTH FEET & ANKLES FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT MIGHT BE GOING ON? THANK YOU!!

Hi there.

The symptoms in your neck region correlate with cervical spondylitis. ..... meaning degeneration of the bones in the neck along with irritation of the adjacent nerve roots which is causing the tingling sensation.
The fullness and ache in skull are a part of the disease.

Kindly get an Xray of the neck region done and evaluated.

Treatment :
1. An anti inflammatory and muscle relaxant like Etoricoxib and Thiocolchiside.
2. Pregablin for the nerve irritation.
3. Cervical isometric exercises . Learn these from a physiotherapist.
4. For fullness and headaches I usually prescribe Stugeron tablets.

The edema could probably be due to either an increase in blood pressure or side effect of antihypertensive medication (if you are taking any).
Jobs which require prolonged standing also lead to edema.
Kindly start wearing Venous Stockinga whenever you stand.
