Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about a 63 year old female diagnosed as COPD 2 years ago and have developed ulcer and IBS, there is
tingling and
numbness on left lower face for the last 3 months, sharp pains in the left lower abdomen for 4 days.
All these symptoms may be related or may not be related.
I would think of the following:
The tingling and numbness on the left part of the face can be due to local nerve branch of trigeminal getting entrapped or hyper-excited .
COPD can give relative hypoxia causing multiple problems.
Left lower abdominal can be due to
colitis or ureteric pain.
I would advise you the following:
Take an opinion of an ENT Surgeon for the tingling and numbness on left lower face, get clinical evaluation completed to get a proper diagnosis and get a prescription of the specific medication.
Send stool and blood for tests and have an
ultrasound of the whole abdomen and get the proper diagnosis of the pain in the left abdominal area and get treated accordingly.
COPD is a chronic condition and needs treatment under the guidance of a Pulmonologist, may be life long.
You may need an MRI for the brain and
trigeminal neuralgia.
